| Well, here goes nothing. Here is what I decided to do with my car. I am selling the built TT motor, and single turbo setup, in order to go to a single turbo RB26 from an R34 skyline. The RB26 is more reliable above 800whp than any VG motor, so I decided this time to go with a more tested/true setup. The motor I am having built will rev to 12,000rpm, will make 1000whp on boost alone(35psi). The turbo I am planning on using is an 80mm still using a t4 style flange. It is similar to a PTE GT42, but a little bigger =). Why I decided to do this isntead of the VG: 1. I was going to put a lot into my VG heads to get them to flow what i wanted. 2. I was going to put a lot into getting 1600cc injectors adapted to the lower plenum 3. I was going to have a custom surgetank intake built which would stick from the hood, which i was never crazy about. 4. I was going to abandon the eagle rods and probably rebuild the whole bottom end to be safer to support 1000whp. All of this stuff added up QUICK! I got a quote on getting a fully built RB and I couldnt pass it up. I am going to try and get this motor to fit under the hood (might modify the firewall) without having that large bubble, but if it comes down to it, I can live with it. The trade-off's are smaller displacement (2.6liter RB to the 3.0 liter VG, but no VG is gonna rev out to 12,000 rpm). The RB will spool slower, but should have a longer powerband due to the increased rev limit. The VG I could probably get to rev to 9k or so. I am still going to use a GM turbo 400 trans, and will have some new stuff to show you soon! Here are some pics of the Single motor after I cleaned it up to get it ready for sale. My classifieds post there is links to the Ebay auctions in there...

I hope i don't get disowned for switching out the VG, I am still partial to the VG motor... And I have another motor in my garage I would eventually like to build to the limit in a few years...
